Why do you see king crab legs but not the rest of the crab?

-I'm from Maryland where they consume a lot of Blue Crabs. When they do, they eat the meat from the legs but also from the rest of the body. When you see those giant King crab legs one might naturally assume that the crab body had proportionately more meat as well but you never see whole King crabs for sale, or served in restaurants. Why is this?|||King crabs have VERY little meat in the body.|||I think they use it for loose crab meat for salads and so on.|||Perhaps they sell the meat of the body to be used in cans or other meat uses.|||Little to no meat on the rest, legs have the most. Rest of the body is processed for usable pieces and discarded. Both points above, true.
