Has anybody got a good recipe for crab&king prawns?

Here is the recipe I serve at my bistro

------Ingredients-----------------


Amount Ingredient Preparation


1 pound prawns


5 each coriander root crushed


1 tablespoon peppercorns


1 each onion thinly sliced


3 slices ginger crushed


2 tablespoons oil


1 tablespoon maggi sauce


1/4 teaspoon salt


1 tablespoon sugar


1 tablespoon oyster sauce


2 tablespoons light soy sauce


1 teaspoon sesame oil


1 tablespoon whiskey


2 cups mungbean noodles soaked and cut into short lengths

Place the oil in a wok, heat and stir fry the coriander root, ginger, pepper and onion. When fragrant, remove from the wok and place in a mixing bowl.





Add the noodles, the sauces. salt, sugar, sesame oil and whiskey, toss the noodles until well coated, and then add the prawns and toss well once again.





Divide the noodles and prawns into four individual portions; place each portion in a lidded cup, and close the lids. Place the cups on a baking tray and bake at 460 degrees F. until the prawns are done (about 10 minutes).





Serve hot with fresh vegetables, such as tomatoes and spring

Ingredients needed:





1 tablespoon olive oil


1/4 cup finely minced onions


1/4 cup finely minced celery


1/4 cup finely minced green bell peppers


2 tablespoons finely minced red bell peppers


1 tablespoon finely minced shallots


4 teaspoons finely minced garlic, in all


4 teaspoons Essence, in all


1 teaspoon salt


1 teaspoon black pepper


1 pound lump crabmeat, picked over for shells and cartilage


1 egg, slightly beaten


1/4 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese


1 tablespoon Creole mustard


1/4 cup bread crumbs


16 prawns, peeled except for the tail and butterflied


3/4 cup peeled, seeded, and chopped Italian plum tomatoes


1/2 cup shrimp stock


1 pinch cayenne pepper


1/2 teaspoons fresh black pepper


1 stick unsalted butter, cut into 1-inch cubes


2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese


2 tablespoons brunoise red peppers





Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a saut茅 pan, heat the olive oil. When the pan is smoking hot, saut茅 the onions, celery, peppers, shallots, and 2 teaspoons of the garlic, 2 teaspoons Essence, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and the pepper. Saut茅 for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the crabmeat and toss gently. Saut茅 for 1 minutes. Remove from the heat and cool. Turn the crabmeat mixture into a bowl and stir in the egg, cheese, mustard, and bread crumbs. Form the stuffing into 16 balls. Season each prawn with the remaining Essence. Press each ball of stuffing into the cavity of each prawn. Place the prawns on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes.





For the tomato butter: In a small non-reactive sauce pot, mash the tomatoes using a whisk over high heat for 1 minute. Add the garlic, shrimp stock, salt, cayenne, and black peppers and bring to a boil. Whisk the mixture constantly for 1 minute. Whisk in the butter a few cubes at a time until all the butter is incorporated.





Yield: 4 servings|||Roman King Prawns





450g (1lb) King Prawns, cooked


60ml (2 floz) Liquamen (Fish Sauce), or to taste


4-5 Egg Yolks, hard-boiled, chopped


2-3 tbsp Wine Vinegar


1 tsp Green Peppercorns, crushed


1 tbsp Lovage or Parsley, finely chopped


陆 tsp Celery Seeds, ground





Mix all of the ingredients together.


Pour over the prawns.


Serve.





Masala King Prawns (2)

Ingredients...


2 tbsps vegetable oil


1 onion, peeled %26amp; finely chopped


2 cloves garlic, peeled %26amp; crushed


录 tsp salt


录 tsp turmeric


录 tsp ground cumin


录 tsp ground coriander


录 tsp chilli powder


1 tbsp tomato puree


8 oz raw peeled king prawns


pinch of garam masala


finely chopped fresh coriander leaves

Instructions...





Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the onion and fry for 7-10 minutes until golden brown.





Next add the salt, turmeric, garlic, cumin, coriander, chilli powder and tomato puree. Stir for 30 seconds then add the prawns and cook, stirring for a couple of minutes.





Add 3 oz water and cook for another minute. Remove the pan from the heat and sprinkle over the garam masala and coriander leaves. Serve with a spinach curry and some rice,|||Soup!!!...One of the most delicious soups is so simple to make. While you're busy doing the following let your prawns soak in a little bit of beer, garlic %26amp; Old Bay Seafood Seasoning.


You'll need the following: Cooking Sherry (to taste), green onions, garlic, lrg can of Campbell's Cream of Potato soup with garlic, crab, half/half, old Bay, and your shrimp.





Sautee your garlic and green onions in olive oil, pour in equal amouts of milk and half and half cream..stir. Add the entire can of soup, let heat up, pour in crab and season to taste with old bay seasoning, sherry, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for a few minutes. Add prawns (cook just until pink)...pour in a soup bowl..sprinkle with old bay. Serve with crusty bread, salad and a nice white wine!|||http://www.deliaonline.com/search/?qx=cr鈥?/a>
