How long do i boil king crab legs?

We broil (not boil) the king crab legs that we get in the oven. I think they may be pre-cooked. It seems like about 5 minutes. Just long enough for the little water on them to sizzle and the meat is warm. Don't want to over cook them.

Serve with melted butter or melted butter with some crushed garlic in the butter.|||The problem is, as several of us pointed out, most crab legs you get are already cooked. I've never seen raw, uncooked king crab legs. Which is why none of us has said how long to boil them for.

Steamy aprox. 20 min|||Be careful-many of th pre-frozen legs, as well as the legs you buy in the "fresh seafood" section of your local supermarket are already cooked-all you need to do is to heat them. I usually warm them through in a shallow pan with little water, lemon juice and butter. Pre-cracking the shells-gently- for your guests with a small mallet, and having shellfish forks to pick out the rest of the meat, along with fresh drawn, and separated butter on small candle burning individual heaters, along with fresh garlic bread, a nice fresh romaine caesar salad and simple baked or doublebaked and cheese stuffed potatoes would be perfect. Serve with chilled Pinot Grigio or dry champagne, and you've got a 5 star meal!
