How can someone get a job working on a king crab boat in the bering sea?

I just saw this five minutes ago...go to a place called "Unisea Bar" in Dutch Harbor. If a crewman fails to show up, or gets injured, the captain goes there to recruit a replacement.|||It will cost you a thousand dollars to get to Dutch Harbor just from Anchorage in air fare and you will need a place to stay. When we tie up at the dock in Dutch, there is dozens of wide eye guys asking the same questions trying to get on the boat.

|||answer the ad, go for the interview, sound very keen, preferably have some prior deckhand experience perhaps on other kinds of fishing vessel in rough sea areas like the North Sea|||You watch too much TV. It is very dangerous hard work. There is no glamour at all, and very boring after a short period of time.

If you have never been in the ocean i doubt they will even consider you; there are already plenty of watermen with experience.
