What side dishes go good with King Crab?

and what Drink?|||Stay with the "surf" idea, and go with a shrimp cole slaw, rice salad, avacado and tomato sliced. Above all, keep it simple and colorful. And I agree, butter and lemon-----------------maybe a little garlic?

I like a slightly fruity Chablis.|||butter and more butter|||I'd go very well with it! :)

Seriously though, with seafood I like a nice dryish white wine, and side dishes that aren't too heavy or greasy. Like garlic cheese mashed potatoes or wild rice, a nice salad, and fresh fruit.|||lots of butter for the crab meat itself. Garlic mashed potatoes and a side salad are heavenly with crab meat.|||Fried rice, steamed fresh veggies, toasted wedges, melted garlic butter. Red wine.|||Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc from new Zealand, melted butter, a pile of asperagus, broccoli, and rice to soak up the butter that drips.

Heaven!|||Well first you need to have a good shell cracker and picker, plenty of lemon and garlic butter. Fresh biscuits or corn bread, Grilled Corn on the Cob is always a good crab meal treat, Malt Vinegar fries and coleslaw preferably one thats not to creamy or full of liquid. Your gonna be messy enough with all the crab juice and butter dribbeling down your chin and chest. Dont forget the bib and napkins. And a good cold frosty mug of beer suits me, but again thats me.|||Zucchini slices lightly fried in olive oli with a bit of garlic and lemon juice. and wild rice ****** with some butter|||Just about anything! ... or, nothing except butter, if I were feeling "naughty" and just want to eat only crab:) ......A crisp salad with endive and red onion and Balsamic vignarette would be good .... Some parslied red potatoes in butter .... a tropical fruit salad and lemon sorbet for dessert ..... and a dry white California wine|||rice with stir fry veggies!
