How can one neutralize salty taste from cooked King crab?

My daughter brought me some crab meat from Alaska. The person that cooked it, cooked it with VERY salted water so now the crab is too salty! I thought maybe adding some sugar to boiling water then soaking the crab might help neutralize the salt taste. Does anyone have any ideas?|||dice up a potato and let it set in the water with the crab.
