What type of Organism is King Crab?

King crabs are a superfamily of crab-like decapod crustaceans chiefly found in cold seas;..



The most common is the red king crab - Paralithodes camtschaticus...|||This can't be the best answer because it not answering the question asked. By "type of organism" the OP means ecologically--e.g. Nekton or Benthos. Crabs live on the ocean floor and are therefore benthos.
